Have you seen the Lord today? Have you really seen the Lord? Have you looked into His Word as your main priority today?
Joh 9:37 And Jesus said unto him, Thou hast both seen him, and it is he that talketh with thee.
Joh 9:38 And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped him.
1. See the Lord today through His Word.
(“Thou hast both seen him”)
Open my eyes, that I may see
Glimpses of truth Thou hast for me;
Place in my hands the wonderful key
That shall unclasp and set me free.
Silently now I wait for Thee,
Ready my God, Thy will to see,
Open my eyes, illumine me,
2. Let the Lord speak to you today through His Word.
(“it is he that talketh with thee.”)
He is The One who has the words of eternal life. Respond with speak Lord, for your servant hears. Be still and let God be God. Listen, really listen! John 6:68 . . . Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 1 Samuel 3:10 . . . Speak; for thy servant heareth.
3. Believe what He says.
Be doers and not just hearers. God’s Word will increase your faith. Mark 9:23 Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth. James_1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
4. Worship Him.
Seeing Him, Hearing Him, Believing Him will bring worship to Him. Have you seen the Lord today? The blind man was healed physically, but more important he was healed spiritually.
Amazing Grace how sweet the sound! I once was blind but now I see. He believed for the physical and the spiritual and it brought worship! Do we fall in adoration at the Savior’s feet for all that He has done for us?
